Daddy Daughter Dance

The weekend before Valentine's Day, Frisco City puts on a Daddy Daughter Dance. The anticipation building up to this event was so exciting for the girls. We had so much fun shopping for dresses. I was very proud of myself to have found both of them at second hand stores!! We took them to this place called Sweet and Sassy to get their hair done. Am I creating monsters??... I don't even care! It was too fun!
All done...
Here they are all dressed up... One handsome daddy and two beautiful girls.

Taking a break for a snack.

Ah man...
The theme of the dance was Alice in Wonderland. They had all the characters there! Olivia LOVED that!!

All night she had been looking for the rabbit. Kenney spotted him from across the way and asked for a picture!
Good times!!
When they got home I had made them a fun little dinner. Salad with heart shaped croutons, heart shaped pasta and meatballs and chocolate dipped strawberries.
I am so grateful for a husband who adores his little girls. I love that their first experiences like this are with their daddy. Thanks Kenney for being so fantastic!!

So adorable! And you aren't creating monsters by having these special things for big occasions! It's memories, not monsters. :) Thanks for sharing these gorgeous photos!
