4th of July

We had such a great 4th. How could you not living by the Nations Capitol?! We started the day at a ward picnic. They played games... The girls decorated their bikes for a parade... I mean walk around the park! That's as far as Olivia's bike made it, and all the pictures of Hailey on her scooter were blurry because she was scooting to fast!!After the park we went to the airport to PICK UP MY PARENTS!!! They came in town to celebrate the 4th with us and we're having a blast with them here. We rode The Metro into downtown.We had a picnic on the lawn waiting for the fireworks.My parents took the girls to see some of the museums and cool things around while we waited.And then we got rained on! See The Capitol building behind us? How cool is that?! The fireworks went off behind The Washington Monument.
They were nothing shy of AMAZING! I think we're officially ruined. How will we ever be able to top watching fireworks sitting on the lawn in DC?!
